The 24th Rosen Competition and the DBDA Public Art Program have joined in partnership with our to extend public art into the downtown area by awarding two additional artists the opportunity to place their work into our community. The Jacob Riis Award

WPGA organizes THE JACOB RIIS AWARD with the exclusive sponsorship of EYEMAZING Magazine and benefiting Save the Children Foundation. It will focus in portfolios (minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 images) inviting photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought. The Award is open worldwide to all professional and amateur photographers working with digital or traditional photography or combinations of both. There is no theme for this Award, and the images will be evaluated as a cohesive body of work rather than individual images. The Award will consist in the publication of the winner portfolio in Eyemazing Magazine (to be published during 2010) and a cash prize of $ 3,000.Each portfolio should be composed of a minimum of 8 images and a maximum of 12.
